Thought, the elderly got up early in the morning, breakfast should be eaten early too, actually this is not so in the past. The medical expert thinks, people are during sleep, most organs got the abundant rest, but the food that digestive organs still stayed in gastrointestinal tract one days before digesting and assimilating, had not entered and rest the state gradually until morning. So, the elderly if breakfast is eaten too early, will inevitablely interfere with rest of the intestines and stomach, make the digestive system in the state that fatigue meets an enemy attack for a long time. So the elderly had better have breakfast after 8 o'clock am.

Had better not eat frying, stiff, greasy food, otherwise will cause the food stagnatly in the stomach at breakfast, cause indigestion. The elderly's breakfast had better be nutritious and food apt to digest, for instance milk, noodles, soya-bean milk, bread,etc., especially suitable for eating the porridge, because the porridge promotes salivation and nourishes the stomach, facilitate the human body absorbing. If can add health care food of nutrition such as the lotus seeds, white fungus, red date into porridge, then the result is better.
