Find genetic _'s general knowledge of the immunity of pulmonary tuberculosis in the mouse
The researchers of the institute of public health of Harvard Medical School have already found a hereditary clue, explore why some people have immune ability to the bacterial strain of pulmonary tuberculosis, and other people will have illness coming on.

Nearly 1/3 of the population is infected with pulmonary tuberculosis in the whole world, but only 1/10 of the the infeted have illness coming on. This difference indicates, the genetic factor can control individuals to resist the ability to infect.
Kamnik and colleague proved a section of DNA made the little mouse apt to be infected with pulmonary tuberculosis in the past. In the latest research, they replace this section with a Section with resisting nature that come from the little mouse. They find the little mouse resists the ability to infect to shift with transformation of DNA part. This group finds Ipr1 gene, it is on DNA part with resisting nature shifted, can limit the duplication of the tubercle bacillus. This gene can change the way that immune system cells die because of infecting too. In the body of little mouse with resisting nature, macrophages die from suicide; But in the body of little mouse easy to be infected, it is out of control that macrophages die from, makes the little mouse difficult to control the spread of this fungus. The human homology gene of the little mouse Ipr1 gene is SP110. Researchers propose examining SP110, seeing it expresses the resisting to the tubercle bacillus in the human body.
In a comment accompanied of Nature, Nada Jabado and Philippe Gros of Canadian McGill university think this result contributes to designing the new treatment tuberculosis medicine. The research has not merely announced the new respect to study pathogenesis of tuberculosis, and if it is proved that gets in the human body, may announce the new target of drug therapy.
